Intern- Seaside Associated Stores
During my summer as an Intern for The Seaside Style I gained experience in Retail, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Warehousing, and Shipping/Packaging. I sat in on a couple meetings and was able to hear from the CEO of the company. I participated in marketing campaigns helping with and modeling in photoshoots and video shoots. I worked on the sales floor in all five departments where I assisted customers and handled the merchandise.
October 2020- January 2021
Sales Associate- La Crema
At La Crema, I took coffee orders over the counter and by telephone. I checked out customers and assisted them on the sales floor. When working in the back, I unpacked new arrivals, tagged, steamed, and hung them up. I helped plan and participated in store events like fashion shows, Black Friday, and Christmas Open House. Every day I modeled new arrivals and created social media content for the store.
September 2019- December 2019
Marketing Intern- L.A. Green
At L.A. Green I was responsible for daily activities like sending out invitations for events, running errands, and writing descriptions for the store website. I also created a Brand Ambassador Program for the store from scratch.
June 2021- August 2021
Merchandising and Marketing Intern- ASHLEYlauren
At ASHLEYlauren, I work in warehousing, marketing, merchandising, graphic design, and social media. I steam dresses, re-stock, count inventory, package and ship out orders, crop images for the website, plan for market, create Tik Tok content, and take photos of new arrivals. I am able to sit in on meetings with the team and have learned so much about the industry and how to be successful.
